SIS Bank Electronic Documentation Specialist, Sherry Goodwin has chosen the Sanford Lions Club to receive $500 after she was selected as the most recent recipient for the Bank’s Employee Donation Program. She is pictured here with Bank President, Blaine Boudreau.
The year may soon be ending, but the end of our Employee Donation Program is nowhere near in sight! In fact, this charitable giving effort is well into its third year, with our 33rd employee recently having been selected to choose a charity of his or her choice to receive the Bank’s $500 gift. Sherry Goodwin was selected for December, and she has chosen the Sanford Lions Club.
All donations raised by the Club must go back into the community. In particular, the Sanford Lions Club offers assistance with eye glasses, hearing aids, and medical equipment including lift chairs, electric chairs and walkers.
Sherry Goodwin, Electronic Documentation Specialist in the Loan Servicing Department at the Main Office, selected the Sanford Lions Club because she witnessed first-hand how the Club can improve the lives of real, local people.
“The Sanford Lions Club helped out my mom when she had her first major surgery, and provided her with an electric recliner which has been a real blessing for her, post-surgery and thereafter,” stated Goodwin.
“The Lions Club is a world renown organization with an amazingly local focus on helping people when, where and how they need it,” says SIS Bank President & CEO Blaine Boudreau. “Congratulations on such a wonderful choice, Sherry!”
