SIS Bank employees raised more than $8,200 in 2018 during their ‘Casual for a Cause’ days.
SIS Bank is so pleased with how well its “Casual for a Cause” jeans days were received with Bank employees this past year! Throughout 2018, we hosted bimonthly jeans days to raise funds for local organizations and charities. Twice monthly on specific Fridays and Saturdays, SIS employees contributed $3-5 (or more) to wear jeans to work. As a result, our employees collectively raised over $8,200 in support of 26 local organizations for the year!
The Casual for a Cause jeans days are tradition here at SIS Bank, and something the employees look forward to participating in every year. Not only do our staff get to take a day off from wearing their usual professional attire; they do so for a cause that matters.
This past year’s list of designated charities include: Relay for Life, Save Our Shores-Maine, Go RED for Women, Sister’s Wish, Maine Adaptive Sports & Recreation; Sanford Project Graduation 2018, Rolling Thunder’s Bowl-A-Thon for Veterans, MGhelpMe Gaited Horse Rescue, K9s on the Front Line, Safe Haven Humane Society, Safe Kids Maine, Cancer Care Center of York County and a host of other local and impactful organizations.
“Everyone looks forward to the jeans days, especially knowing they are contributing to different worthy causes each time,” said SIS Bank President & CEO Blaine Boudreau. “We continue to be humbled by the generosity and the charitable spirit of our staff and thank them for another successful year of fundraising.”
