SIS Bank is Changing its Name to Partners Bank
SIS Bank is pleased to announce that it is changing its name to: Partners Bank of New England. The name change will officially occur on July 1, 2019.
SIS Bank has been a long-standing community partner to Sanford and surrounding communities in southern Maine and the New Hampshire seacoast. As “The Bank That Listens®”, the Bank’s top priority is to respond to the financial needs of its customers and community members. Based on two years of market research, it was determined that the brand identity of SIS should better reflect the Bank’s personal approach to banking that its customers and community members have come to know and expect.
The SIS Bank Board of Directors chose “Partners Bank” as the new identity for SIS to convey what the Bank has always been to its customers: a true partner to the individuals and businesses it serves. There have been no buyouts and no mergers. There has been no change either in the management team of SIS Bank or in its Board. SIS intends to remain a locally based, independent community bank dedicated to the communities it serves.
SIS Bank and its employees support many local organizations and nonprofits with significant donations and volunteer efforts each year. To reinforce its commitment, going forward the Bank will increase its donations and economic development budget to 10% of its net income, a 67% increase over previous years.
“Our new name will give us a stronger identity as we expand into new markets and continue to develop mutual goals and long-term relationships with our customers and communities,” states President & CEO of SIS Bank Blaine Boudreau. “As Partners Bank, we will continue to offer superior customer service, competitive products and a true concern for the well-being of our customers. We will continue to give back to the communities we serve. We certainly could not be The Bank That Listens without our loyal customers. Renaming the Bank will help us to continue our legacy throughout our markets. We are excited for this important change to better connect with our customers, and we hope you will be too!”
The rebranding was announced to all Bank employees and Corporators at the Bank’s annual meeting on March 27, 2019. With its new name and brand identity, the Bank will launch a new and improved website and online/mobile banking platform.
Customer notifications will continue to be provided throughout the entire name change process, and you can check back on our website for updates.
